Copper Hill Homes has been developing upscale residential homes in Yucca Valley, California for more than 20 years. Copper Hill Homes is the proud developer of Copper Hills Homes at Onaga, Joshua Springs, Sky Harbor and their latest community – Sage Estates, which opened in late 2018. As the High Desert’s premier developer, Copper Hill Homes has a reputation for delivering exquisite craftsmanship, quality finishes and those extra details that make a house a home.

After rising to prominence in the automotive industry and wanting to diversify, William E. Shack, Jr. founded Cooper Hill Homes in 1996. From his first dealership of Yucca Valley Ford-Lincoln-Mercury, which he purchased in 1976, and later sold, he went on to became part of one of the largest minority owned auto dealership groups in the nation. Shack also was the founding president of the National Association of Minority Auto Dealers.

Shack wanted to invest in building quality, affordable homes in Yucca Valley – the community in which he raised his family – and has overseen the development of more than 500 homes to date. Today, Shack continues as owner of Copper Hill Homes, but resides in Henderson, Nevada where he owned Shack-Findlay Honda. He also is a renowned business consultant and sought-after speaker to numerous entities including the UCLA Graduate School of Business and Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University. His business feats have been covered in several national publications including The Los Angeles Times, The San Diego Union Tribune and Fortune Magazine among others.

Two of Shack’s sons serve on the management team for Copper Hill Homes – William E. Shack, III as President and Vincent Shack as General Manager. Veteran Realtor Bob Armstrong handles the real estates sales.
